Maureen Dowd takes on John McCain's POW excuse for every gaff and McCain himself uses it again in an interview with Katie Couric."I am grateful for the fact that I have a wonderful life," McCain said. "I spent some years without a kitchen table, without a chair, and I know what it's like to be blessed by the opportunities of this great nation...So the fact is that we have homes, and I'm grateful for it."I guess I am not sure what being a POW 40 years ago has to do with one's qualifications to be President of the United States.
This should be a McCain commercial.
