After church this morning, I was surprised by a gift of a great looking prayer shawl, knitted by the All Saints Beverly Hills Knitting Guild. They provide knitted items to parishioners who have been ill. As I am recovering from pneumonia (having spent 7 days in the hospital in early July), this was my knitted gift. It's just another way the community of Christians at my church have been an amazing source of strength for me. I'm sure I can and will make good use of it but as I wrapped it around myself today I felt like a really old fart.

That's a beautiful shawl, CB, and it's alright to feel like an old fart, just don't fart on the lovely shawl, or in my direction.
Of course I clicked on the link thinking it would lead me to the Guild where they 'mighta woulda' given the specs... you know, fibre, pattern, yeah... silly me.
