Medicaid Proof of Citizenship Rule Eased.
A week ago I mentioned that 50,000,000 people were about to lose their medical benefits because they could not prove citizenship. The NY Times reports today that the rule is being eased. It seems like a good start but doesn't go far enough. Other needy individuals--including foster children and the homeless--will lose benefits due to lack of paperwork.
