The occasional rantings of an aging liberal Christian on his faith, his church (Episcopal), politics, the criminal justice system and other momentary indulgences.
Look, the rest of us are not doing enough to stop global warming, but, at least, we're doing something. In the U.K. we've signed up to switch to 20% renewable energy in the next few years, which is a good start, although Tony wants to supplement it with more nuclear plants, not a good start. Trouble is, if your bloke, George, doesn't sign up to something soon, what everyone else does is going to be a waste of time.
I would be grateful if you could have a word with him, Clyde. I can't be doing with this heat for much longer. Our roads are melting for goodness sake and my dog doesn't like it at all.
I sure wish I could have some impact but no one listens to my opinions. I guess if Bush keeps going we won't have to worry about global warming since we will be in the apocalypse. Isn't that what good Christians pray for? :-)
